The board chairperson Air Cdre. Dr. Eng. E. Kamusoko opened the 2025 Annual General Meeting for the Research Council of Zimbabwe on the 26th of June 2026. The meeting was duly constituted.
It is noted that in 2025, the RCZ focused on strengthening institutional effectiveness and advancing the national research agenda through targeted strategic initiatives.
Priority was placed on enhancing collaboration with the private sector and development partners to secure sustainable funding for research, innovation, and commercialisation.
RCZ intensified resource mobilisation by leveraging public-private partnerships and competitive research grants to support high-impact projects.
